The Egurtek “Expo Area” has offered a complete picture of the state of play in the sector with a good number of innovative solutions. The strength the congress itself has been acquiring has had an impact on the exhibition, which has brought together a large number of participating companies who work specifically in wood construction and architecture.
“We are at Egurtek because it is the leading national congress for construction in wood. It is the most important wood architecture congress in the Iberian Peninsula and we have to be there because it is where the main architects and builders are,” acknowledges Manuel Lobo, representing the company FINSA, which has come to Egurtek with its selection of wood products for wood construction.
José Carvajal, from the company ABAQUIA / VISENDUM, presents his technological wood at Egurtek, “a must-visit place where we’ve been coming for many years and we’ll continue to come,” assures.
“This is the fourth time we attend Egurtek. It is a very interesting meeting for us because of the profile of the visitors; engineers, architects, surveyors, etc. It is a very fruitful fair for us,” confirms Cédric Couet, a representative of the French firm Monnet-Seve-Sougy.
In total, more than 70 companies presented products and services related to architecture, wooden houses, wood treatments, sustainable construction, journals, associations, engineering and decoration, wood for construction, structural software and importers of wood, elements and materials.
Moreover, in 15-minute sessions today at the Speakers’ Corner, a wide range of services and products were presented concerning “the importance of acoustic insulation in wood construction”, “chestnut wood in construction”, “decarbonisation manifesto” and “15 advantages of technological wood for exteriors”, among many others.
