BASKEGUR - ASOCIACIÓN DE LA MADERA DE EUSKADI

Baskegur is the professional association representing the forestry and wood sector in the Basque Country.

It brings together the entire sector value chain, from forest owners and forestry service companies to logging contractors, primary processing industries such as sawmills and packaging manufacturers, the pulp and paper industry, secondary processing companies ¿including furniture, timber structures and joinery¿ and, at the end of the chain, companies operating in the bioenergy sector.

In addition to carrying out the activities required to fulfil the organisation¿s objectives, Baskegur provides collaboration, advisory and guidance services on a wide range of sector-related matters, including the improvement of forest management and the development and competitiveness of the Basque wood industry.
