The ninth edition of Egurtek, the International Forum on Architecture and Construction in Wood, will bring together the sector’s leading professionals at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre on 19 and 20 October. They will find a large number of innovative solutions and the latest trends in the Expo Zone, which will offer a snapshot of the sector’s situation with the participation of companies such as Finsa, Schilliger Bois, Essepi, Egoin and groups such as Baskegur, the Basque Wood Association and Advantage Austria. Many of them are loyal exhibitors at the event.
The momentum the conference itself has been acquiring over the last few editions has had an effect on the exhibition, which brings together the largest number of participating companies specifically dedicated to timber construction and architecture in Spain. In total, around 50 national and international firms have already confirmed they will participate, of which almost 50% have already taken part in at least one prior edition of the event.
They will all offer products and services related to architecture, wooden houses, wood treatments, sustainable construction, magazines, associations, engineering and decoration, timber for construction, structural software and wood importers, elements and materials. Egurtek’s sales team continues to promote the event, as shown by its attendance at trade fairs such as Rebuild and Carrefour du Bois.
The Expo area, almost 70% of whose space is already reserved, will also host the Baskegur technical seminars, the Speakers’ Corner, the exhibition of the panels participating in the Egurtek Awards and the Conference coffee breaks.
Egurtek is organised by the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in collaboration with Baskegur – the Basque Wood Association, the Basque-Navarre Official College of Architects and it is sponsored by the Basque Government Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment.
